Aurea Boulevard, Golden Bay
Planning framework documents can sometimes extend beyond the practical, into the unrealistic, which was a challenge for this site. With development outcomes that may not be feasible for several decades, a pivot towards a more docile medium density terrace outcome was achieved. Street facing and engaging units, maximising northern exposure, and vistas to nearby parkland and the ocean, the site was maximised in a sensible manner, bringing 13 homes to a coastal community, unlocking density, avoiding the site remaining vacant and undeveloped.
